He has been studying music since he was a child, soon was dazzled by jazz music having as teachers jazz musicians like Stefano Sabatini and Riccardo Biseo. He attended a training in composition and electronic music with Michelangelo Lupone. He achieved the degree in piano and pursued his classical studies with russian pianist Kostantin Bogino. In 2000 achieves an ethnomusicology degree at Sapienza University. In 2008 participates in the workshop of the pianist Kenny Barron at the Tuscia Jazz festival. Since late 80s he has been playing with several folk, rock, pop and jazz band and collaborate in studio recordings projects. He played in numerous musical festivals like \u201cThe Eddie Lang Jazz festival\u201d, \u201cFabbricando festival\u201d,  \u201cSe telefonando festival\u201d. In 2000 was finalist for the \u201cTIM international music festival\u201d. In 2002 he performs the concert for piano:\u201dJazz improvisation on classical theme\u201d at Accademia Angelica Costantiniana for the\u201dIV Festival Internazionale di Pianoforte e Musica da Camera\u201d. In 2003 he meets the tenor saxophone Davide Marinacci with whom starts playing T.Monk , J.Coltrane music for many jazz clubs. The feeling between the two artists is so strong that they will be influencing each other for the next years. In 2004 he starts recording original jazz composition that will be collected in the CD \u201cInside\u201d, \u201cLooking for way out\u201d, \u201cThe Swing of Things\u201d, \"Up\" and \"Lines\" Since 2003, has been providing consultancy for RAI italian TV.\n\n            ---------------------------------------\n\n\nPaolo Pavan inizia i suoi studi musicali da giovanissimo e subito sceglie il pianoforte come suo strumento. Studia musica classica e si diploma in pianoforte, si perfeziona poi con il pianista russo Konstantin Bogino. Stefano Sabatini, Riccardo Biseo, Bruno Tommaso, Kenny Barron sono i suoi maestri di Jazz. Suona con diverse band della capitale  vari generi musicali: pop, rock, jazz,  musica leggera, collaborando  anche alla realizzazione di molti progetti discografici. Partecipa a diversi festival musicali tra cui l'international Jazz Day,  l'Eddie Lang Jazz festival, Isola Liri jazz festival, Festival Appio Claudio, Fabbricando festival, JazzIt Festival, Se telefonando festival e nel 2000 \u00e8 finalista al TIM torneo internazionale di musica. Dal 2003 inizia alcune collaborazioni importanti che lo porteranno alla realizzazione di diverse produzione discografiche autoprodotte: \"Inside\", \"Looking For A Way Out\", \"The Swing Of Things\", \"UP\", \"Lines\", \"Velvet Face\", \"Gecko\" progetti di brani jazz originali. Nel 2019 forma un proprio Trio con il quale realizza l'album \"Black Hand\".  Il repertorio musicale di Paolo Pavan \u00e8 presente in numerose produzioni Video internazionali. Nel 2021 il brano \"Seven\" \u00e8 inserito in un documentario della Comalipa production, attualmente in proiezione in numerosi cinema europei e premiato al festival del cinema internazioneale di Matera.  Attualmente si sta dedicando al perfezionamento e del proprio repertorio in continua evoluzione.
